Aesthetically nice, clean lines overall design. It is sturdy, made with good quality materials and well designed to prevent water ingress from the solid piece top side. The top is difficult to remove. There are two screws under the top lip that screw into an internal molded piece. The screws are difficult to remove because there is not enough clearance for the handle of a std Phillips screw driver to clear the glass and align straight with the screws. Designing the screw to go at an angle, away from the glass walls would improve/correct this challenge. On the first lamp we were unable to remove one of the screws (it was very tight (like machine tight). Amazon made it easy to return and replace it. Once the top screws are removed for access to the bulb socket, the installation is straightforward. Std wiring: one black, one white and a copper ground. Three screw nuts are included. The glass fit to the lamp housing is very good, but unclear whether they are water sealed. With aluminum, corrosion is not a concern, but the socket could be. Time will tell. The visible glass sections are 4"x 6 1/2" on the two wider sides and 3"x 6 1/2" on the two narrower sides. A 13W LED light bulb shines bright through the glass and illuminates the entrance walkway and surrounding area well. The full lamp looks decent.Lamp was what I was looking for to accommodate the larger LED bulb I wanted to use. Without breaking the bankI bought two wall lights (model CG-002) and overall am satisfied with value and appearance. The fixture is attractive though I wish the baseplate was an aluminum casting instead of formed sheetmetal. Speaking of which, most of the lamp IS aluminum, but a magnet indicated the following steel parts: baseplate, horizontal square tube and the cube atop the light housing. The photocell works great and should be easy to swap in a locally-sourced replacement if/when it dies.The one-page instruction sheet has a detailed diagram identifying the fixture parts, a wiring diagram and one instruction step. The single step explains only how to remove the foam packing from inside the fixture. That's no problem if you've installed these fixtures before, but if you haven't you'll need to look up instructions or figure it out based on removing your old fixture.Installation was the same as any similar wall fixture. After turning off power and removing old fixture, screw the swiveling mounting bracket to your outlet box, rotate outer crossbar so it's horizontal; connect white, black and ground wires using supplied wire nuts, slide holes in baseplate onto threaded posts in outer crossbar and attach two decorative nuts with their rubber washers. Note: the housing/horizontal tube assembly is bolted to the baseplate and may not be aligned perfectly. Once you've squared the baseplate, you may have to twist the housing/tube assembly to square it as well.The review claiming the "mounting housing doesn't even cover outlet box" and "attachment bracket holes/screws don't align with standard round outlet box mounting hole" is puzzling. I don't know what type of outlet box that person had, but in my installation the 4.7" W x 6.3" H baseplate easily concealed my standard 3.5" x 3.5" octagonal junction box. And the included swivel bracket aligned perfectly, though it seemed a bit flimsy.Would have given a 5 star rating but first shipment was wrong color. Second delivery was correct.Placed this small pendant on an exterior porch off our master bedroom and it is stunning. Really adds appeal. Glad we purchased it. Very sturdy, well constructed and put together and great quality for the price.we have two of these out on our patio. They are absolutely beautiful. We put the long Edison lights in them which certainly added to their look. They were professionally installed but the installer had no issuesEasy to install. Replacement of existing fixture.Gift
