Used as a factory replacement. This does not have a bypass thermostat in it which is awesome and why I bought it, however factory quick connects would not slide over without modifying the coolers ends. The cut is not beveled down as it should be for orings. Company should address this as I had to completely remove the cooler after installing it to make this modification, this is why I only gave 3 stars.
