This is advertised and pictured installed incorrectly. The pcv system on 96-04 mustangs draws fresh filtered air into the passenger side valve cover, through the crank case, out the drivers side valve cover, and into the intake. The only reason to install a catch can on the fresh air inlet side of a pcv system, is if you are experiencing significant blow-by during wide open throttle AND you have one installed on the pcv valve/vacuum side also. During normal driving, only clean filtered air flows into the valve cover on the passenger side, and out of the drivers side. If you only have one catch can, it goes inline with the pcv/vacuum side, not the fresh air inlet side. You're wasting your money, if you have one catch can installed on the fresh air inlet side. The oil gets drawn into the intake on the pcv side.
