This is the first real expensive faucet I have bought($200). New kitchen, so I thought I would go with something really nice. I have purchased faucets out of Home Depot and Lowes for around $170. They are nice but still seem a little flimsy. This is solid as a rock. It weights nearly 10 lbs. Very heavy, well built. The sprayer alone weight more than the old faucet. Do not get me wrong, this weight is because there is no plastic or cheap metal. The brass fittings are heavy and solid. After hooking it up, not a single connection leaked. I had to remove the aereator to put my dishwasher connector on. I went to the hardware store with the aereator and the plumbing specialist could not believe the craftsmanship of the aerator. So you can guess what the rest of the sink is like. The satin finish is really nice. I have it mounted on a black granite composite sink. The satin nickel finish is so much softer than chrome. Looks great. I am just a regular Hubby that works around the house, I was totally impressed with the faucet. I would definitely recommend. One thing, the box will say Kingston Brass instead of Elements of Design. Apparently same company.
