The oils in this serum are known to be great for skin. Jojoba balances skin moisture, and sesame is very nourishing. Macadamia oil has a type of fatty acid that is considered cushiony or juicy. Avocado oil is particularly penetrative to skin. Sunflower oil speeds up skin barrier repair. Many of the oils in this are organically sourced, too.For an oil serum, this is absorbed by skin relatively quickly, but you can speed it up by mixing with a few drops of watery toner or a hydrosol. I have a high quality sandalwood hydrosol, and it was perfect with this oil, but any quality toner or hydrosol will work.This has a noticeable sandalwood scent. There are a lot of scents that I can not handle at all, but this one doesn't make me sneeze or irritate my eyes. However, it is a bit strong, so I use less than the 4 drops recommended and dilute with my hydrosol, which also has a scent but it is much lighter and fades quickly. I find the scent in this serum lingers lightly. What also lingers is the soft smoothness this imparts; when applied to the back of my hands, a softness remains even after washing my hands.This won't perform miracles on skin, but proper moisture makes skin look more plump and bouncy and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. A good oil serum like this earns its place as part of a great skincare routine.This is not a value product nor is it marketed like one. It is a luxury item, so you can find better values out there, although make sure to compare with reputable organically sourced products.
