Melling M22FHV High Volume Replacement Oil Pump for Chevy, Ford, Dodge - Improves Engine Performance & Oil Flow for Racing, Towing & High Mileage Vehicles

I ordered the Melling M22FHV for a Oldsmobile 455 build that I am doing. The M22FHV is a higher volume oil pump than the factory original, so if you intend on using it I would recommend a oil pan larger than the 5 quart factory original that came on most Oldsmobile 455s. I must say that Melling truly stands behind its products. After I received my oil pump, the machining of the drive shaft pocket looked a little questionable. I emailed Melling with a picture of the pocket and received a reply back from Melling the same day. The individual I dealt with also questioned the machining, and asked for my address so he could send me a replacement oil pump. I received the replacement the next week, and couldn’t be happier with the replacement oil pump. It’s great to deal with a USA company that truly stands behind its products.
