These are not large pendant lights, but I have a small kitchen and didn't want something that overwhelmed the space. My counter is 6 ft. long.I say easy install, but my husband did them and he has an electrical background and some experience installing light fixtures. I did have to order shorter pendant rods because I needed to shorten the length a bit but that's something that will be specific to your hanging preferences.I ended up loving the finished product. The seeded glass is very attractive and the lights are simple and classy looking. I did wrap some fabric ribbon around the glass to cut down on glare and it seems to help considerably. I would definitely recommend these as the quality is excellent. The shades went together easily and hang straight - an issue I had with a couple of other sets I had to return because the shades would screw on crooked.Just keep in mind that with clear glass shades you will deal with glare from the light bulbs. The seeding definitely helps but I'm kind of sensitive to light, so I added the ribbon.Also, keep an eye on the price - tends to fluctuate. I paid around $167 for mine (each).
