1/2" x 50' RMA Class A Professional Rubber Air Hose - Lightest & Strongest Oil Resistant Air Compressor Hose with 3 Year Warranty for Automotive, Industrial & Construction Use

TLDR: Aside from getting my hands dirty easily, I will probably get another to replace a second hose reel. Happy that the 1/2 hose fits fine on a reel designed for 3/8. Just need to get adapters for the end. I also may try the goodyear yellow rubber hose since it's so much cheaper.I bought this to replace one 50' spool of 3/8 hose (made by Husky, same as the Harbor Freight retractable reels) because that cheap line was cracking and bubbling.The Good:Flexible, and lightJust heavy enough to keep it self flat on the ground when pressurized, unlike the neon green brands (they are too light and become a tripping hazard by raising themselves off the floor)The line doesn't feel easy to collapse when not under pressure. This is the worry I had with the flexzilla/green brands--being so light I didn't know if the spring return on the hose reel would cause the hose to collapse when returning on the reel.Brass ends feel good.The not-so-good:Pick up dirt and dust quickly because the surface has a slightly tacky feeling. I may try to sprinkle baby powder on it to make it more dust repellent. Having it wind back up in a spool and letting it run through my hands transfers a bunch of sticky dirt to my hands, even when the hose isn't very visibly dirty.The molded plastic handles feel cheap, I would rather they abandon them altogether if it's going to feel that cheap. I had to move the plastic hand grips around to make this 1/2" hose fit on the hose reel designed for 3/8. However it doesn't seem to consume any more space on the reel, both are 50'. I could probably fit a 75' or maybe even a 100' on the reel.
