Ok, so I love a real rose smell, and for the scents that call themselves "rose" and are a chap immatation, not so much. I also love after bath oils in the winter when my skin is so dry. I usually use Welda rose, which is nice, and not so expensive, but after thinking about this bath oil for, oh, like a year, I decided to splurge and give myself a luxurious gift. This stuff is amazing! It is not as "thick" as Welda, or the others, but is absorbed very quickly so no wait to get dressed if, like me, you slather it all over when you get out of the shower. And the scent is wonderful. Very restful, light, yet with staying power. You are not going to bowl over anybody with a powerfull smell roses just by walkiing past them (don't you hate that?!) but instead it keeps its light and soothing rose fragerance for several hours. In my opinion, well worth the price if you want a bit of pampering.
