Update: 18 months later, the cartridge failed. Searching for a phantom "dellta or peerless compatible" replacement is fruitless.I wish I had never met this faucet. I has a 1 5/8 inch diameter and I have, of course, a traditional 1 1/2" hole in my granite countertop, since almost all faucets are 1 3/8". I will not bore you with the litany of failed strategies we employed to try widening the hole before finally painstakingly getting it in with many hours of dremel grinding.
