A Corporate Lawyer turned Entrepreneur, Eesha Bhatia was raised by a well-traveled mother and an ardent Ayurveda practitioner grandmother, who gave her the perfect exposure needed to create Myra Veda. Her inside-out beautiful mother has traveled across the world and understands the roles of various natural ingredients found in different countries to be implemented to holistically benefit our health and beauty. On the other hand, her paternal grandmother whom she still regards as one of the most knowledgeable women of her generation had a big role to play in her upbringing. Her unbeatable knowledge of Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, and life sciences, in general, being put into execution, and significantly improving her family’s lives, was enough proof for Eesha to absolutely disregard the accusations of these concepts being “pseudo-scientific”. With her strong conviction to follow her family’s teachings, she started showering with natural botanicals like reetha and shikakai, which would leave her hair feeling dry & skin lacking moisture. Furthermore, it would consume a lot of time and make the bathroom completely messy. She knew about toxic beauty but when she started looking for natural alternatives, she realized how messed up the situation was and how brands fooled unaware consumers through a play of words like “herbal/natural”. Not just that, she realized that there are many extremely prominent brands in the mass-market as well as luxury beauty segments that even today do not mention the complete list of ingredients used in the product, by hiding it under the term “Base Q.S” or even mentioning only “ACTIVE INGREDIENTS”. That's when she started creating daily use products for herself and her loved ones. Because of daily experiments, all her loved ones kept getting these products to test. Before she knew it, she had them coming back asking for more. Word of mouth increasing the demand for her creations was the foundation of Myra Veda and all its products. What makes your product special? A full-time Corporate Lawyer, Eesha Bhatia- the heart and soul of Myra Veda, left her lucrative job, to focus full-time on her life’s passion- creating a BEAUTY brand that would change the way people perceive natural beauty and perhaps completely shift the boundaries of Consumerism, especially in India. She strongly believes that consumers should have the opportunity to make an informed choice! While some team members bring more to the table than others in terms of qualification and work experience, we've always helped each other grow and be better human beings. We all belong to different backgrounds and come from different life experiences but our common goal of making Myra Veda the best clean beauty brand in India and Internationally unifies us. No idea is a bad idea here and we encourage everyone to speak their minds. I love that everyone sits together for lunch irrespective of their positions in the company, socially, economically, or anything that divides us in society. I hardly see that happen anywhere else.
