Faucet looks nice and the design/mfg matched closely with a standalone tub faucet, so I bought it. I changed my attic into a Den, so purchased many components at the design stage about a year ago. I did not realize This was an older/non standard IPS connection at the time, and it took multiple trips to Home Depot and Lowes to figure out how to mate with current connections. 2 visits to Home Depot, and getting recommendations for an adapter were non conventional, and would not work. I went to lowes an found a braided adapter that fit the male connection of this faucet to the smaller 3/8 connection at the wall and it does work well, certainly a better approach than 2 brass adapters, or the IPS line connection & adapter that was needed. It is installed, no leaks and I am confident it will not fail, but had I known the energy required to make this fit, I would have just bought a common /current faucet. So I took off a star for that, and a star for noise. This is easily the noisiest faucet I have ever heard. I don't know if it is by design to reduce pressure, but there is a hissing with a less than stellar stream coming out. Had I installed this sooner, I may have returned it for all these issues, but I am stuck now and this bathroom gets little usage, so will make due. It looks good and matches my tub, so I will just bear with it, but I would not recommend it unless like me, there is no other matching option for you.
