I bought this to allow me to hook up my outdoor Christmas lights more easily, and be able to control them with the light switch inside. I was pleased by both the appearance and ease of installation. Then, I was further won over by the functionality afforded in setting up and control my decorative lights. The included bulb lends a rather blue-white tint to the lighting, rather than the softer yellow-white I prefer. But I don't mind footing the bill for a replacement light bulb. The included bulb offers a bright light, and that is what matters most, I think. Definitely happy with this purchase so far.
