5-POINT HARNESS SYSTEM: The Palmer Safety harness is designed with a 5-point harness system, which includes straps for the shoulders, chest, and legs, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. The webbing is made of polyester with a width of 1.73 inches, and a breaking strength of 5000 lbs (minimum). The quick connect buckles (QCB) make it easy to put on and take off, and also allows for quick adjustments.
3 ALUMINUM D-RINGS: The Palmer Safety harness is equipped with 3 D-rings which are strategically placed to provide multiple attachment points for fall protection. The metal components are made of alloy steel for the quick locks, and aluminum for the D-rings which are designed to withstand heavy loads.
THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER FIT: A proper fit is crucial for optimal performance, regardless of whether the harness is for men or women. The Palmer Safety full-body harness is adjustable to accommodate users between 130 to 420 pounds (59 to 140 kg) and between 4’10” to 6’6” (147 to 198 centimeters) in height. To ensure the best fit, make sure all buckles are securely fastened, leg and shoulder straps are tight and chest straps are positioned at the center of the chest.
OIL AND DUST RESISTANT: This harness is designed to be oil and dust resistant, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. It is also equipped with fall indicators, which provide a visual indication if the harness has been involved in a fall, and therefore should be removed from service.
