I ignored all the bad reviews for this pump and decided to give it a try anyway. I'm a pretty technical kind of guy and figured if I followed the instructions I could make it work. Unfortunately no amount of know-how will get this underperformer pumping. I followed the directions precisely. Making sure the pump was below the oil level it was pumping, the suction line was short, any oil in the engine block was warm. All of this did not help this pump pull prime and pump any amount of oil. Find a better solution, this ones a bust
