This thing isn't flimsy. It seems like it's really well made. It's a little heavy so you may get tired holding it up in the hair to massage your head. The silver metal pins are not comfortable on my head. You can remove the center set but unfortunately I've not figured out how to remove the outer ring of pins. The controls are not intuitive. Frankly I am not sure how to turn the thing off completely as it seems to be touch sensitive. I need to read the manual , which I will eventually do. But I like to try out things withhout reading it so I can see hust how easy it is to operate. I'm not sure the red light therapy will even really be of benefit since you will likely be moving this around and not shining it in one place for any period of time. It's really expensive for what it is. There are a lot of head massages and oil dispensers out there. This seems pricey but well made. I personally don't care for the massage due to the metal pins. Oh and it is very hard to take off the back cap and put it back on. There was no reason why the vendor couldn't have embedded a turn handle to make this easier. I spent 5 minutes messing with this when changing out the center piece. I'm just not a fan.
