This cooler can be used for either your engine or transmission. This cooler is rated at 7,500 BTU and measures 2 3/4" x 11" x 1 1/2" with 1/2" NTP fittings. This cooler comes with the mounting brackets. Fitings and tubing will need to be purchased separately. This is a must for Heavy duty applications, from towing to racing, but is recommended for even daily driven vehicles. Heat is what kills an engine or automatic transmission.
