First off: No, this model does NOT include any baffles or material inside the can but in some cases (such as mine) I wanted an empty catch can so I could use my own filtering media. The can and parts are well made and feel strong in your hands, I replaced the supplied the clear PVC tubing with some black Mishimoto tubing that they sell for this purpose but the tubing that is included should work for most applications.I filled my catch can with some grade 3 stainless steel wool which gave me plenty of cool surface area for condensing hot crank case gasses and oil vapor, what's nice is that I can replace the media for about $6 if I ever need to.I also used a 1/2" breather to turn it into a breather can.My only complaint is the location of the hex bolts that hold the top of the can on are blocked by the inlet/outlet spouts when assembled, requiring you to remove the connections to open the can. Not a problem really but would make life a bit easier. Can also features a drain plug on the bottom.Overall this product does what it says and I'd be happy to buy another in the future.
