Spent a great deal of money and time and more money and time trying to diagnose my 7.3l Powerstroke. It is my first diesel and its Greek to me but learning fast. Couldn't find a pressure gauge and hose test kit and the HPOP was the last thing I checked. After installing, to include hook up, the gauge was able to tell off on the HPOP quickly reducing its pressure as the engine warmed. This and fuel pressure gauge will be standard in this truck. Fuel and the HPOP are the two most important items to monitor. It will save you the headaches that I got and you will see an issue as it develops.
