Function – The EDV-2000 removes condensed water and oil from the air receiver tank. It is a full-feature automatic electronic drain valve. It cost-effectively removes condensate from receivers, dryers, aftercoolers, compressors, filters and drip lines. Tested to perform in any demanding environment.
Features – Adjustable time on (0.5 - 10 seconds); Adjustable time off (0.5 - 45 minutes); Manual test button, delivers drier air to extend the life of tools and pneumatic equipment, Eliminates manual draining. Indicator lamp LED indicating power on / off.
Superior Material – Internal armature and shaft made from premium grade steel, Valve material Forging brass, Hard texture. Shell material NEMA 4 (IP65) enclosure for enhanced protection again water and particulates, has great impact and heat resistance. It can work in various harsh environments, with high temperature and corrosion resistance.
Specification - Outlet Connection (mm/in) 6.4/0.25 NPT; Inlet Connection (mm/in) 6.4/0.25 NPT; Voltage 110/120V; Orifice Diameter (mm/in) 7/16. The maximum pressure is 250 PSI.
Advantage – The valve body incorporates a self-cleaning feature where a fixed strainer screen removes contaminants before reaching the valve orifice. The only maintenance required is to open the control valve periodically. The full flow would then be redirected from a 90° position to a straight through direction which cleans the filter screen of collected contaminants with a short blast.
Simple Design - Condensate follows a serpentine path through a small orifice that is actuated by an electric timer. The length of time the drain is open and the frequency at which it opens can be adjusted manually by easy to operate dials. Depending on humidity and duty cycle, requirements for condensate discharge can be set and changed over time.
Simple Operation - Offered in a variety of outlet pipe and orifice sizes, this compact and reliable drain valve can meet system demands easily. Ultra bright LED lights alert the user when the power is on and the valve is open.
